Principle
Every Unlock Potential™ estimate shall maintain explicit documentation of evidence, assumptions, probability, confidence, sources, and calculation methodology.
Definition
The Evidence Sufficiency Law™ is the third constitutional law of Unlock Science™. It requires that no Unlock Potential™ estimate be published without an accompanying evidence record containing: supporting observations, public and private evidence sources, financial assumptions, probability estimates, confidence intervals, model version, analytical rationale, expected outcomes, realized outcomes, and revision history.
Operating Law
No Unlock Potential™ estimate is constitutionally complete without an accompanying evidence architecture. Estimates without evidence are opinions, not science.
Implications
- 1.Evidence Sufficiency transforms Unlock Potential™ from a number into a documented scientific claim that can be inspected, challenged, and improved.
- 2.The Evidence Architecture™ (TI-702) is the implementation system for Evidence Sufficiency — the infrastructure that makes this law operationally enforceable.
- 3.Confidence intervals are required — not optional. Every estimate must carry explicit uncertainty bounds: low case, base case, high case.
- 4.Realized outcomes must be compared to projected outcomes — creating the feedback loop that enables the Continuous Learning Law™.
- 5.Evidence Sufficiency is the primary legal protection for The Lens™ — it ensures every estimate can be defended as a documented, evidence-based assessment rather than a speculative projection.
