Founding Resolution™

Principle

Every new discipline reaches a point at which further refinement of its architecture yields diminishing returns. Future credibility no longer depends upon additional concepts — it depends upon disciplined application. Opportunity Science has reached that point. Version 1.0 of the Opportunity Science Standard is hereby adopted as the founding architecture of the discipline. Future credibility shall be established through research, publication, implementation, and measured outcomes rather than continual expansion of the underlying framework.

Definition

The Founding Resolution™ closes the framework expansion phase of Opportunity Science™ and commits the discipline to application. Opportunity Science exists to improve enterprise judgment through disciplined observation, transparent reasoning, and evidence-based decision-making. Enterprise value is the outcome. Improved judgment is the mission. Everything produced under the Opportunity Science Standard shall contribute to that purpose. The architecture shall remain stable throughout the development of Enterprise Value Blueprint™ No. 001.

Principle of Stability: The architecture shall remain stable throughout the development of Enterprise Value Blueprint™ No. 001. New ideas may emerge. New evidence may challenge assumptions. New opportunities may be discovered. These should strengthen future versions of the discipline through documented revision rather than ad hoc modification of Version 1.0. Version 2.0 Candidate Log: Any concept proposed after adoption of Version 1.0 shall be recorded separately as a Version 2.0 candidate and shall not alter the current standard unless clearly defined, supported by evidence, evaluated against the Opportunity Method, reviewed for conceptual overlap, and demonstrated to improve enterprise judgment.

Application (apply the Opportunity Science Standard across industries, enterprises, and institutions — demonstrate methodology through measurable outcomes). Learning (capture observations, implementation experience, and realized results — expand Opportunity Intelligence, enrich Opportunity Atlas, strengthen future enterprise judgment).
• 3.The Griffin Commitment: Enterprise Value Blueprint™ No. 001 shall serve as the founding application of the Opportunity Science Standard. Its purpose extends beyond evaluating Griffin Fluid Management — it demonstrates how Opportunity Science is practiced. Every proposition, observation, finding, opportunity statement, recommendation, and measurement framework shall be prepared to the highest professional standard. The Blueprint shall be judged by the clarity of its reasoning, the quality of its evidence, and the usefulness of its judgment.
• 4.Founding Question: Opportunity Science will ultimately be judged by one question: Does it consistently improve enterprise judgment? If yes, better decisions follow. If better decisions follow, stronger enterprises emerge. If stronger enterprises emerge, greater enterprise value is created. That is the purpose of Opportunity Science. That is the commitment of Version 1.0.
• 5.Relationship to TI-053 (Product Constitution™): TI-053 closed the constitutional expansion phase for the platform. TI-072 closes the framework expansion phase for the discipline. Both establish the same principle: credibility is established through application, not further architectural elaboration.
