Principle

Organizations should measure the percentage of decisions and learning that become reusable memory.

Definition

Memory Capture Ratio™ = Captured Decisions ÷ Total Decisions.

Operating Law

The lower the capture ratio, the greater the organizational memory leakage.

Implications

  • 1.Meetings without capture create decision evaporation.
  • 2.Low MCR™ weakens AI systems.
