The gap between potential value and realized value is measurable and actionable.
Definition
Expression Gap Score™ (EGS™) measures how much potential remains trapped. Formula: EGS = Potential Value − Realized Value.
Operating Law
Every dollar of Expression Gap represents value that exists but has not been converted into outcomes.
Implications
- 1.A company with $50B potential enterprise value and $30B current enterprise value has an EGS of $20B — a 40% expression gap.
- 2.EGS is the primary target of Equity Reclamation™.
- 3.Expression gaps are caused by failures in one or more of the five ECI™ dimensions.
- 4.Closing the expression gap requires architecture, not merely additional intelligence or capital.
