Principle

Transformation Intelligence™ distinguishes between universal concepts that describe reality and proprietary intellectual property that describes the methods, measurements, architectures, and systems developed within Transformation Intelligence™. This distinction preserves both scientific clarity and intellectual property integrity.

Definition

The Constitutional Style Guide governs trademark usage across all Transformation Intelligence™ constitutional documents and publications. Universal concepts — such as Identity, Knowledge, Intelligence, Transformation, and Enterprise Value — describe reality and appear without trademark symbols. Proprietary concepts — principles, measurements, frameworks, disciplines, and products — carry the ™ designation. The Constitution should read as the description of a discipline rather than as product marketing.

Operating Law

Architectural layers are written as universal concepts. Methods, measurements, systems, and commercial offerings are identified as proprietary intellectual property. Enduring disciplines are built upon universally understandable concepts — Transformation Intelligence™ provides the principles, measurements, methods, and operating systems through which organizations intentionally improve every stage of the constitutional architecture.

Implications

  • 1.Rule I — Architectural Layers: Written without trademark symbols. Examples: Identity, Knowledge, Intelligence, Organizational Cognition, Transformation, Enterprise Value. These represent universal stages within the TI™ architecture rather than proprietary products.
  • 2.Rule II — Disciplines: Formal disciplines retain trademark designation. Examples: Transformation Intelligence™, Decision Economics™, Transformation Infrastructure™, Organizational Cognition Architecture™.
  • 3.Rule III — Principles: Named constitutional principles retain trademark designation. Examples: Transformation Capacity Principle™, Adoption Scarcity Principle™, Identity Continuity Principle™, Divergence Acceleration Law™.
  • 4.Rule IV — Measurements: All proprietary measurements retain trademark designation. Examples: Transformation Efficiency™, Transformation Capacity™, Decision Continuity™, Transformation Probability™, AROI™, Decision Capital™.
  • 5.Rule V — Frameworks: Formal frameworks retain trademark designation. Examples: Transformation Blueprint™, Enterprise Value Frontier™, Decision Visibility Infrastructure™, Transformation Memory Architecture™, Transformation Graph™.
  • 6.Rule VI — Products: Commercial offerings retain trademark designation. Examples: The Lens™, Lens Analysis™, Board EA™, Strategic AI & Fulfillment Exchange™.
  • 7.Rule VII — Constitutional Language: The Constitution reads as the description of a discipline rather than product marketing. This reflects the philosophy that Transformation Intelligence™ seeks to explain how organizations transform while also providing proprietary methods for measuring and improving that transformation.
  • 8.Application: When writing new constitutional principles, check every ™ against these seven rules. A standalone architectural term (transformation, knowledge, identity) should never carry ™. A named principle, measurement, framework, or product always carries ™.
